How I Helped
Built a multi-pronged press strategy that included: leveraging the contacts of cofounders Erin Polgreen and Joyce Rice, targeting a wide range of trade press/pop culture magazines/comic blogs, and re-packaging stories for cross publication on social media.

In the End…
Symbolia greatly exceeded its Kickstarter goals and was lauded by mainstream press such as The New York Times, Nieman Lab, Poynter, and CJR. It also enjoyed a huge spike in logins and influencer shares.
