Distill Media, Inc. Nov. 2010 – Present
Owner/Principal Partner

Towards the end of my time at PBS NewsHour I started taking on clients, notably the Natural Resources Defense Council, and outlining social media and editorial strategy  for a number of brands across the United States and around the world. Currently, my staff and I are working with NRDC, its sister publication, OnEarth, and WNYC, the country’s biggest public radio station. We are actively (and aggressively) pursuing more clients  across the media landscape to integrate social media into existing editorial routines.

Past projects have included social strategy for Al Jazeera English (in Doha) and the launch of their social media talk/news show, The Stream, in Washington, D.C.; a social media evaluation of Poynter Online and the launch of tech blog LAUNCH for internet pundit Jason Calacanis.

As of November 2011, Distill is based in New York.
